Priority Deadline: October 28th
CUNY institutions are located in NYC. Students are expected to apply to up to six CUNY institutions for free. Students receive a fee waiver after financial documentation is submitted to the college/career office.
Deadline: November 18th
SUNY institutions are located in NY State. The application fee is $50 per school. If students qualify for opportunity programs they can apply to up to seven colleges for free. Check in with the college office to see if you are eligible for these programs.
Deadline: December 9th
The FAFSA is a form that allows U.S. citizens and eligible noncitizens to apply for federal loans, grants, and work-study programs.

The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) helps eligible New York State residents pay tuition at approved schools in New York State.

The New York State DREAM Act gives undocumented students access to New York State‐administered student financial aid to support their higher education costs.

Common App is a website used to apply to private institutions. Fees are different per institution. Fee waivers are available for students who are eligible. Financial documentation needs to be submitted to the college office to determine eligibility.
